Simon Carnegie is a Partner at Cruickshank & Dean Global Intelligence. He is a highly experienced security leader, with over thirty years of experience in the sector and an unparalleled Rolodex of contacts. He played a key role in providing risk management and security solutions for the 2012 London Olympics and has also provided such services for major development projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. 

Carnegie is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Thouwd Risk Management. In addition, he is the founder and CEO of the security consultancy Eigenrac, which during the summer of 2021 played a critical role in evacuating people to safety from Afghanistan.

For years, he has been a go-to security solutions provider for ports, the aviation sector, oil & gas, the nuclear industry, mass transit, sporting events, retail, and critical national infrastructure. He has extensive experience in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Central America, and Central Asia.

Before his work in the private sector he served in the Royal Marines, operating globally in difficult and hostile environments. He is a member of the American Society for International Security (ASIS) and a member of the Security Institute in the UK.
